For realtors who want something on their site besides the standard form-based search, Map Search offers an exciting new option. With the Map Search, consumers begin their search on the map, with all listings in the area displayed. By selecting a city, panning, zooming, and using the sliders to refine the search, consumers can narrow down the search until they see exactly the listings they want.

Map Search is a step beyond a regular search that uses a form to enter search criteria and then shows the results of the search displayed on a map. By removing the need to select a specific city at the beginning of the search, you allow the consumer to find listings that he or she might not have otherwise found.

For a consumer who is relocating to a new area or focused on living near a particular attraction – like a park, waterfront, or commuting hub – searching by map is a great way to find listings. By navigating around the map – without being constrained by city boundaries – consumers can see everything that is in their area of interest.

Our Map Search tool is available for any client on our 7.0 platform. It is an optional feature that is a supplement to our basic search tool.
