Additional fees may apply for our IDX service for some boards. To find out if additional fees apply for your board, select it from our service coverage page and look under “About this MLS”, on the right-hand side of the coverage details page.
The types of fees that may be charged are discussed in more detail below.
Data Access Fees (Pass-through Fees)
Some boards require us to pay additional vendor fees in order to provide our IDX service. To help cover these fees, clients are charged an additional data access fee (also referred to as a pass-through fee) in their iHomefinder account billing. If applicable, these fees will be clearly stated in our online signup and payment form when you sign up for a new account.
Direct Board Fees
Some boards charge their members “direct fees” when they sign up for service with any IDX vendor. These fees are payable directly to the board or their IDX data feed provider and are not collected through iHomefinder billing. If direct fees are required by your board, you will receive detailed instructions for making payment when you sign up for a paid account.
About IDX Fees, Association Membership Fees, and Website Costs
Our pricing is in addition to your board/association membership costs. All of our IDX service fees, including any extra direct board and data access fees described above, are separate from any general membership charges you, or your broker or office, might be paying to your board/association. To use our service, you will need to both be an active, paying member of your local real estate board/association, and have an active, paid iHomefinder account as well.
If you’re adding our service to your own website, our pricing is in addition to other website costs you might be paying, such as domain registration, website hosting, themes, and web design and development, and you will need to pay any such fees to your chosen service providers as applicable to your website.
If you’re using our hosted website service, the website hosting and optional domain setup is included in our pricing. If you choose to register your domain through another registrar, set up email addresses with your domain name, or use a web developer to customize your site, any applicable costs will be in addition to our pricing, and you will need to pay those fees to your chosen service providers.
