IDX Coverage

MRED IDX for Real Estate Websites.

Add live Midwest Real Estate Data listings and property search to your website with iHomefinder IDX.

Yes — iHomefinder provides MRED IDX for real estate agents, teams, and brokers who want live property listings and home search on their own website. MRED listings, photos, prices, open houses, and status changes update automatically through the IDX feed — approximately every 15 minutes. iHomefinder works with WordPress and other website platforms, or provides the complete website — either way, listings are embedded directly on your domain, no iframes, no subdomains. IDX search, lead capture, CRM, saved searches, and listing alerts are included in one platform.

MRED (Midwest Real Estate Data) is one of the largest MLSs in the country, serving 40,000+ real estate professionals across 13 Realtor® associations in Chicagoland, northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin, and northwest Indiana. If you’ve been around a while, you may know it by its predecessor’s name — MLSNI — or call it connectMLS, the name of its MLS system.

The Name Question

MRED, MLSNI, connectMLS — Which Is It?

They’re all pointing at the same database. MRED (Midwest Real Estate Data) formed in 2008 from the merger of Chicagoland MLS systems — its predecessor was MLSNI, the Multiple Listing Service of Northern Illinois. connectMLS is the name of the system MRED runs on, which many agents use as shorthand for the MLS itself. If your board is one of MRED’s 13 participating associations, iHomefinder’s MRED IDX feed covers you.

Listing Data

What MRED Listings Can I Display?

  • Active listings — full detail, photos, pricing, and status, updated approximately every 15 minutes
  • Open houses — dates and times synced from the MLS
  • Status changes — pending, price changes, and back-on-market updates — near-real-time at MRED’s refresh rate
  • Required MLS attribution and listing courtesy displays handled automatically
The Platform

What You Get with iHomefinder MRED IDX

Listings on your domain

Property search and listing pages live on your domain rather than a framed page or vendor subdomain — giving you stronger control over search visibility, analytics, and lead capture.

IDX + CRM + automation, one login

Every iHomefinder plan includes IDX, CRM, and marketing automation. When a buyer saves a search in Naperville or favorites a condo in Lincoln Park, that activity appears in your CRM.

Speed your buyers can feel

With updates roughly every 15 minutes, new listings and price drops hit your website nearly as fast as they hit the MLS — and your saved-search alerts fire while the listing is still fresh.

Three states, one site

MRED’s footprint spans Chicagoland, southern Wisconsin, and northwest Indiana — Lake Geneva weekenders and Indiana-border commuters, all on one feed.

Works with Follow Up Boss

iHomefinder integrates with Follow Up Boss, automatically forwarding new IDX leads into the CRM your team already uses.

We handle the paperwork

iHomefinder manages the IDX licensing, connectMLS feed configuration, and site setup. No developer required.

Compatibility

Does MRED IDX Work with My Website?

Yes — three ways. iHomefinder integrates with your existing WordPress site, works with other website platforms, or builds and hosts the complete site. In every case, listings render on your domain, and iHomefinder handles configuration and feed setup — no developer required.
