On May 28, 2024, NWMLS announced that it will not opt-in to NAR’s proposed settlement agreement. In order to provide consumers with transparency, choice, and opportunities to negotiate, NWMLS will continue to give sellers the option to offer compensation to buyer brokers through the MLS. Accordingly, NWMLS will continue to include the compensation field and the compensation comment field in the data feeds provided to its member firms and their IDX vendors.
