With listings from Southern, Central, and Northern California, it can be complicated understanding your IDX website options for CRMLS (California Regional Multiple Listing Service). Additional confusion is sometimes caused by the fact that CRMLS IDX service includes associations and boards that were formerly served through CARETS.

In this article, we’ll review the IDX options for CRMLS and help you determine which MLS option to select when creating your iHomefinder account, and you’ll also learn what listings are included for your IDX service. As long as you know the name of the local association or board where you’re a member, everything will become crystal clear. Let’s take a look!

CRMLS – Northern California Data Share

Listings from San Luis Obispo County and Northern California CRMLS are included in this IDX service. You’ll find it labeled as “Central Coast and Northern California CRMLS” in our MLS options when creating a new account.

You should select this MLS option if you belong to any of the following associations:

  • Chico Association of REALTORS® | Website
  • Lake County Association of REALTORS® | Website
  • Madera Association of REALTORS® | Website
  • Mariposa County Board of REALTORS® | Website

CRMLS — Southern California Data Share

This MLS option includes listings from the Greater Los Angeles area, spanning over 20 member associations and boards in the Greater Los Angeles area. The listings in this CRMLS IDX service will vary depending on the MLS used by your association or board.

If you’re eligible for this MLS service, you should select “California Regional MLS (CRMLS)” in our MLS options when creating a new account.

CRMLS — San Diego Area

Listings from the San Diego portion of CRMLS are combined with listings from San Diego MLS in this IDX service because these two listing sources have a lot of geographic overlap. These MLSs also have agreements between them for sharing listing data. You’ll find this MLS option labeled as “San Diego AOR & the San Diego portion of CRMLS” in our MLS options when creating a new account.

Background

In September of 2018, the MLS named Sandicor, Inc. stopped operating. As a result, all members of North San Diego County Association of REALTORS® and the Pacific Southwest Association of REALTORS® became subscribers of CRMLS. All members of San Diego Association of REALTORS® became subscribers of San Diego MLS.
